that was pretty cool. took a little bit to figure out what they were singing about, but because they were so darn cute I had to continue watching until I figured it out.

and there's another reason this country elected Obama...I've seen people do more this election for a candidate than ever before in my lifetime.

The one thing I am super proud of is that after 8 pretty awful years, people remembered we can effect change! we could have seen people just bury their heads and (cry) in the sand, but that didn't happen they used their democratic process and really made things happen.

I saw an interview with these kids after the election and they all seemed really bright and mature (and adorable!), but one of them said "Barack Obama became the first black president and I know that someday I can be too." Score one for Civics, maybe not so much for math.
