now it looks like a broken hip. gradma roach got one of those once, but she's also a fan of driving as fast as possible up and down 35. then up again.

Ah, yes I heard that too. My grandmother broke her hip when she was 88 - at that age, it's so hard to come back. Complications are very common, and it sounds like that may be what's happened here. My grandmother lasted about 2 months after, partly, I've always believed, because she didn't want to be an invalid.

Let's hope Mrs. Dunham has a better outcome.
