Infertility, sure. I'm guessing his doctorate isn't in Biology. Or Women's Studies.
Also,
you think this is him? Because I don't want to be culturally insensitive or anything, but he doesn't look like an "An Aboriginal academic" to me...

I don't want to deny a girl's right to do anything, but if the Aboriginal people are ok with the way things are, then I'm ok with it too.
Unlike many of the world's native peoples, this group seems more intent on keeping their way of life. I respect that in a time when it's just easier to convert to modern ways.

I have to point out the homoerotic undertones here.
Back off, ladies. Only another man can put his strong, pursed lips to my big, wooden stick and make sweet, sweet music!

stupid. you don't have to follow the religion/culture's guidelines unless you're actually in front of its people or in its homeland or whatever. in my opinion. when you take an item out of its context, you can do whatever you want with it. in my opinion.
i have touched a didgeridoo. i kind of hope i'm infertile. save on birth control.

So, are you obligated to respect someone else's intolerance, however traditional it may be?
btw - I was just reading about what a screw job aborigines have gotten. Worse, at least in contemporary times, than native americans.
