Remember when Steveums took a Greyhound across the US to Atlanta/Chicago/Dallas?

My dream of some day travelling across America on a greyhound just died a bit after reading that. There was a guy on the Stanhope board who posted a mini blog about his journey from california to chicago and it seemed like a fun way to observe loads of crazies. Now I'm not so sure.

omg  this does nothing to help my opinions...

perhaps he's the fella cutting off all those feet too?

oh and dog, don't worry probably the worse you'll get in the US is a smelly seat next to a smelly person.

I guess I get plenty of that in Scotland. I remember being on a bus in Edinburgh next to a poor old guy who shat his pants. I'll never forget the sight of him waddling down the pavement after he got off.

If it helps, you can more fully immerse yourself in the American experience by packing some serious heat.

My one experience on the TNM&O line was mostly defined by trying to sleep while this towering Native American guy snored through what had to be serious sleep apnea. It was disconcerting.
