yeah i heard that. i kind of cringe at the idea of it being on lifetime mostly because it will force me to watch lifetime. but also because i am certain they will most likely change the format.

i really, really, really hope they don't change the format when they go to lifetime. or if they do, i hope it's really awesome.

also, i will be missing the marathon this weekend, but it's okay because i've seen every season about 7,000 times. that's what happens when you work from home and you're a REALLY big gay.

i just rerererewatched season 1 the other day and i was reminded of how much i LOVE jay mccarroll. he is clearly the best winner of all the seasons, in my opinion. his final show was all KAPOW KABLOO KABLAMMY awesome.

The reason Lifetime wanted this show is because it's a cash cow. Why in heaven's name would they change the format? They want to attract audience, not run them off.

PR works so well under its current management. i'm not so confident in lifetime's ability to keep it young and hip and relevant. this is, after all, the channel that is famous for airing reruns of the golden girls and making shitty tv movies (when my mom watches them, my dad will lumber around the house grumbling about how, "it's always the man" who murdered the wife/raped the kid/is the villain). lifetime's demographic is much older than bravo's, though both are very, very gay. i just hope the show doesn't suffer by being in a different spot.
