They must be doing one of three things over there. 1)Putting everyone in time-out to cool off and end the negativity. 2)Repackaging the forum all nice and pretty and happy once again. I was just commenting there yesterday is that you cannot find any posts before 1/28/06 in most of the sections. 3) It is down for good. That would be a nice way to piss off your current fan base though.

1)People had cooled down and honest discussions were happening at least when I logged off yesterday.
2) If that's the case, it would be down for maintenance and not replaced with a link to the blog.
3) Probably, because they've wanted to do this for a LONG time. Trust me on this; if it weren't for Rubberman, myself, Justin, and Wyatt going to bat for it a couple of years ago, it would have gone down then.

keep hits high on the site
there's a loud hue and cry
a fight brought by people
who want to bring egos down
down to the ground
for members being thrown out

watch out for the drama
there's always some drama
watch out for the drama!

ready or not
like it or not
here they come again
it's a shame, but you just don't get it
you want to keep the fans all in the dark
it's really a mess
but you're just a step behind arcade fire

watch out for the drama
there's always some drama
watch out for the drama

so many times
fans have been pissed
for reading the truth
tim's a hopeless prick
and, really, who cares
the truth is free!
watch out for the drama

fans are just gonna walk
it's a matter of time
don't act like you're amazed
you're pissy they're frowning
you killing all their good cheer
it's a game you're losing
there's always plenty of drama
watch out for the drama
so many forum dramas

I don't know. Never made sense to me, really. Forums can be pretty dramatic places (all the good ones have had some serious drama/fallouts/whatever), but the logic never made sense to me. I never thought about it because it continued back then. I'm sure it was a burning fuse starting with the xmas show fallout and probably seeing the band photo with the red x's might have been the final straw, without actually reading the context.

Who knows? I'm not in that mindframe. I can only go on what I know.

I actually thought it was clever and quite bingo-esque. Of course, when people realise that photo was taken less than 2 years ago and there's that many red x's on the board...makes em wonder I suppose.

Somebody post it. Nothing to stop it here...
