What, here? We got some hail at my place but that was it. A few people said they were worried about the weather and left my Asian American Lit class early but I think they were fakin cuz they wanted to go home.

Sam worked til 9 and didn't get hit by lightning, hail or a tornado on his drive home. He's risky like that.

My mother-in-law called from Canada for a neighbor to ask about the neighbor's daughter and son-in-law who lives in Denton. (I'll provide a diagram if needed) They were all freaked out over the storms and couldn't get in right-damn-now touch with them.
I had to explain this was just normal spring weather. But damn if weather hasn't become the new copter-filming-car-chases. When did local weather become "breaking news" on FOX and CNN? Sheesh.
And the local weatherfolk have become exponentially crazier. There's a new commercial on channel 5 "Watch the weather forecast as if your life depends on it!!" (May not be a verbatim quote but it's damn close.) I grit my teeth every time it airs.
And Pete "WE'RE ALL GONNA FUCKIN' DIE!!!" Delkis is the worst of them. You can see his pants get tight every time a cloud appears.
