but I'm glad I don't live in Russia. I'd rather be annoyed by a disorganized caucus than a president that will never go away.
I voted last week and caucused today. Come on, Ba-rocky! *turns on theme music* you can do it! run up those steps!

I wasn't talking about caucuses. I was talking about the bigger picture.

I was asking the same question this morning.
In other news, right before I left work I cracked a you-had-to-be-there joke saying "I'm gonna go vote so freakin' hard now." I had no idea how true that statement was going to be. I voted in the primary after waiting in line 45 minutes, ran home ate some dinner, kissed the kids and then we back to caucaus... which took over three hours to complete. I wanted to stick around to see the delegate count and be involved in the selection... but I gave up when it was 9:15 and the line was still snaking out the door.

(I wasn't there, but I still laughed.)

i had to leave class early to caucus, which my prof said was okay in advance, but i had to awkwardly start putting my books away and try not let my pens and keys clank around and try and zip my bag quietly (which just makes it more noticable) so i'd be there by 7. We didn't actually get inside and divide into precincts until after 8 and I didn't get out of there until 9:30.
I felt so bad for the guy in charge of the whole thing. He was dripping sweat and running around all 5 precincts. I wanted to buy him a sodie pop.
Also, hey Texas: way to go on printing ONE list to share between all the precincts at each polling place so that I got to wait an extra 45 minutes because the dumb bitch working at the polling place didn't bother to stamp my card because she was pissed that I requested a paper ballot. BOOOOO!!!!
Also BOOOO to whoever voted in favor of this dumbass caucus system in the 70s. What where you thinking? Although it's cool I got to double up behind 'Bama.
