A celebrity is found dead at 3:35pm and it's national news by 4:45.

If she found him dead, and she called at 2:27, how could he have died at 3:26? And even if she just found him dying and not dead, if they had an hour from the call to the death, they surely would've taken him to a hospital in that time (and hence, "died later in hospital")...Ledger's housekeeper found him dead in his Manhattan apartment, New York police said.
He died at 3:26 p.m., they said.
The New York Fire Department received a call at 2:27
it probably took that long to get a coroner there to make the official determination - mere mortals cannot pronounce one another dead, it takes a physicianI donno, I think there's something off about the timeline, cuz:

(Also today thousands of children died from starvation in Africa, hundreds of people were murdered and there were plenty of overdoses by people other than celebrities.)
- Mere "fame: ain't it a bitch" 1975... overdoses by LESS TALENTED, UGLIER people other than celebrities.)
