Shit like this.

EVEN climate change cannot escape the gender wars. Now Swedish men are being blamed for having a disproportionately large impact on global warming.

The finger is squarely pointed at men in "A study on gender equality as a prerequisite for sustainable development" by Gerd Johnsson-Latham of the Swedish Ministry of Sustainable Development. She concludes: "The fact that women travel less than men, measured in person-kilometres per car, plane, boat and motorcycle - means that women cause considerably fewer carbon dioxide emissions than men, and thus considerably less climate change." She notes that 60 per cent of car emissions are created by the 10 per cent of drivers who use roads the most, and that men account for three-quarters of car driving in Sweden.

Women do not escape censure, however. The report notes that in Sweden, women spend four times as much as men on consumer goods and - in a further dig at men, albeit unintended - 20 times as much on hygiene products.

yes. one article proves that feminism is flawed and that all women are raging hormonal bitches who blame men for all of their problems. i totally agree.

and who was it that said, "You're entitled to your incorrect opinion. As are we all."? maybe you shouldn't get your panties in a twist over someone's "incorrect" opinion

No, I don't hate all feminism. But, I mean, mothafuckaz spent money with the purpose of demonizing men as the cause for global warming.

Couldn't we have spent that money on clogs or Ricola, Sweeden?

Because they found the result they did does not mean they were looking to find that particular result.

In our household, this finding would ring true because my husband will drive all over town (Fort Worth, Dallas, and surrounding areas) looking for a part for a bicycle rather than make a few phone calls to find the part.

But I love him anyway even if the glaciers are melting because of it.

(and they don't even have NASCAR in Sweden)

Which sex is a greater factor in contributing to climate change does seem like a bit of an odd choice of research topic. Don't ask me to defend that, but without giving it much actual thought, it just strikes me as odd.

Word. And who said Gerd was even a feminist? Maybe she just needed to publish and this seemed as good a thing to study as any.

I think it would make more sense to use this article as a reason for you to hate women named Gerd. Or global warming studies.

Also - not to get all feminist on you, but - would you have the same reaction if the author of the study had been a man?

Just askin.
