robert goulet, that is.
[On September 30, 2007, Robert Goulet was hospitalized in Las Vegas, where he was diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, "a rare but rapidly progressive and potentially fatal condition." On October 13 he was transferred to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after it was determined he "would not survive without an emergency lung transplant."
Goulet died on October 30, 2007, at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, while awaiting a lung transplant.]

I heard just last week he checked into the hospital to wait for the transplant. Amazing how fast it went.

I thought he was already dead.
Then I thought I was thinking of Burt Bacharach instead but realized I was wrong on that account as well. Then I changed it to Lee Majors. After that I went with George Peppard before finally landing on someone that was actually dead.

I'm sad that more and more old timers I grew up liking or listening to are gonna die soon.
Next year I'm gonna cut back on my concerts of youngens and try and see some of the oldies but goodies that I keep missing.
