I've been spending the day getting ready. I got my eyes checked, then I got fresh new reading classes. Now I've just gotten up from nap. Next it's off for some carbo-loading for the long night ahead.
Harry Potter Ahoy!

went into town to pick up amy's copy, apparently the local bookstore was selling copies from midnight to 2.30 am last night despite the local drunks.
the bookseller was a bit put out when he went through his "wow aren't you really excited to get your hands on this aren't harry potter books the best things ever" routine to discover that i've never read the books and have no desire to start now. so um yeah, screw me

"Groping for his glasses, Harry tried to recall the series of events that had taken place the night before. Yet all he could remember was some hideously ugly witch offering to buy him a drink at the local pub. The room, having come into focus, looked unfamiliar. Rolling over in bed he was shocked to find that he was not alone. There, right beside him, lay Lord Voldemort, blissfully snoozing away."
A surprising turn of events, yes, but you can't deny that there wasn't always some chemistry there.
