Wish Me Luck....

tonight i am auditioning for a role in my church's summer musical production of "fiddler on the roof'. and i know what everyone is thinking, 'how good can a church production of a broadway musical be'?
well seeing as though the church is in downtown dallas' arts district and accepts auditions from outside of church membership, it can be very cut throat.
i will let you know how it goes.

I was a lowly villager in Fiddler in a community theater version of it about 20 years ago. Fun time.

i attend first united methodist dallas, across the street from the DMA.
i am auditioning for any roll they will give me. i am already a part of the chorus but i figure if i am gonna take time to go to practice several days a week, why not make it worth my while.

Not me. I was thinking it was weird they were doing a play about a Jewish family.

the church is pretty liberal. it accepts openly gay parishioners as members. cant find too many churches like that. especially in the south.
