Jerry Falwell

Jerry has merged with the infinite.

I found this quote a bit incongruous:
"I shudder to think where the country would be right now if the religious right had not evolved," Falwell said when he stepped down as Moral Majority president in 1987.
emphasis mine

I bet Tinky Winky is sighing in relief.
Right, because it's being reported as natural causes. You know what really happened was that Tinky murdered him. He slowly poisoned his heart with the Gay Agenda.

Would it be insensitive for me to say "good riddance?"

Well, it certainly wouldn't be very Chrisitan-like.

I'm sure the good Lord in his infinite wisdom will see to it that the Rev. Falwell gets the eternal reward he deserves.

Didn't Rosie O'Donnell say something like that?

This is too wickedly ironic. That whack-job Fred Phelps, of "god hates fags" fame, apparently is going to stage one his group's appearances at Falwell's funeral - presumably because Falwell didn't hate fags quite enough. Wow!

Since I am at work, and "hatred and racism" websites are blocked, I can't get to the crackpot website to verify this information - it sounds too bizarre to possibly be true. Somebody check on that, will ya?

It's probably true as Phelps believes anyone outside his Westboro church is condemned to hell.

I went to that website and he's not listed on the picket list... But that would kinda be awesome. I'd never hope for such a thing, of course. But hatemongers deserve each other.
