Okay, so after buying a whole new stack of CDRs, thinking the old ones were duds, I come to find out that my CD-RW drive is dead. WTF????
Any suggestions?
Dead CD Burner

1) Take the CDs back to the store for a refund
2) Buy a new CD burner
3) send the music in file format to someone who has a working burner. Mail them the CD-R's. Ask them nicely to burn the disc/s for you. Send them money to mail it to that person. Paypal works
4) Go borrow someone's computer that has a working CD burner
5) Take a nap
6) There is no option 6

burners are now pretty cheap. You shouldn't have to pay much more than $40 for a pretty damn good one.
