I've got too much to do, and a wife who wanted to come, but since she can't, wants me back as soon as possible. so that put the ixna on the eekendwa.

i have class thursday 9-5 and friday at 9 so my schedule is open when ever... where is this UFO place?

maybe I'll upgrade and get the GPS in my rental car so i don't get too lost.

I just looked at the flying saucer's beer list, and I might change my room reservation to there instead.

ok so i decided, We'll be at the flying saucer tomorrow probably starting around 8 8:30 or so. If you are near, or feel like coming by stop by and say hi I would love to meet some of you.

I will be the toe head who is darn near translucent due to lack of sun in the hinderlands, and need a haircut. My cohort is a hairy mo-fo with beard and stuff. I will have a snobby beligum beer of some sort in my hand and hope that ommegang three philosphers will be on tap (oh please oh please)

anyway on another note. can anyone recommend someplace good to eat near the airport? preferable an authentic mexican restaurant or something? I arrive around 7 or so, and Imagine I will be hungry.

any help on that front would be much appreciate.

oh if you don't know what I look like my myspace page is http://www.myspace.com/iliketoeatcombos

I recommend the Grapevine El Fenix location. It's one of the Dallas local Tex Mex chains, and in my opinion it's better than Mercado Juarez (which is actually closer to that Marriott you said you'd be at).

ahh yea, the marriott. umm my company is a bit too cheap to allow me to waste their money on such things. I will now be at the la quinta airport south or something like that.

oh yea, and I am bored of tex mex, this is the menu of one the restaurants for the group i work for (and I eat there wayyyyy to much and it is kind of tex mex)

Well, pretty much just go into Irving down Beltline and choose any one of the many little holes in the wall. I'll have to think about places around the airport. BTW, which Flying Saucer?

there are more than one? now I am confused. the only one I saw was about 13 miles NE of where I am staying. I would totaly go to one closer If i knew.. hold on.. i guess the one in Arlington as that be a bit closer and easier to get to from where I will be staying.

BTW i heard it was snowing there this am is that true?

Yes it is sleet/snowing. I'm guessing you mean the Addison one. Hmm. Oh, Josh Blue is performing at the Improv that night as well. That's one funny mutha fucka. (The Improv is basically across the street from the Saucer)

my co-worker is a comedy geek, so i imagine he would want to go there. although since I just asked him (yea I am slacking at work :) he is not familiar with him.

and the one I meant was the one i guess near six flags. mind you I am looking at google maps so if there is a better one/ more convenient one, by all means tell me so. I will have a rental car that I can just hear it from here begging for a beating

The Arlington Flying Saucer closed down a few years ago; where'd you find it listed?
It closed because that fucking yuppie cesspool Serlock's Pub opened up in Lincoln Square and stole all their business.

edit: Wow, I'm feeling pretty hostile today...

Mi Cocina is good but it IS TexMex. I've only been to the Chapel Hill location here in Fort Worth. (Fort Worth also has a Flying Saucer.)
