oooo that sounds wonderful. you'd have so much fun katie, london is a fabulous city! I'm headed back there myself next month. Hell, maybe I'll visit you this summer. I really need to stop travelling during the winter over there.

i will certainly let you know what my plans are for coming to england.
and sunny, you badass cynic, it was really the only class that interested me much. the rest were classes i'd taken before or visual arts, which i suck at.
[The module aims to introduce student to relevant performance processes and styles of Caribbean-derived carnival, and to develop students' knowledge and understanding of the cultural, historical, political and socio-economic contexts of carnival arts. It will offer practical workshops as well as visits from carnival practitioners.]
sounds pretty friggin awesome to me.

I didn't mean to imply the class was dumb, I just thought it was funny. Besides, any opportunity to study abroad is a good one.
And Steve, remember Spain used to own Texas too, but I wouldn't go there to learn how to BBQ.
Well, actually, I guess I would. But only because any opportunity to study abroad is a good one.

This is where I beat Nerf to the punch with a joke about "studying a broad."
Never mind.

i can't wait to finally get out of the country. i haven't even been to canada. i've only been out of new england a handful of times. if i went there for the summer, i would be travelling all over europe (the class is only tues/thurs during the day). i can't think of a better vacation, seriously.
