I hate resolutions. Resolutions are so defeating. They're made to be broken from the get-go.

This year I've replaced "I am resolved..." with "I gonna take a stab at..."
If you take a stab at something and it doesn't work out, it sounds so much better. "Oh well, at least I took a stab at it."

So, I figure I'm gonna take a stab at...

Going back to school.
Reading at least one book a month.
Walking 500 miles.
Cleaning and organizing my garage.

I already mentioned this, but I'm going to stab my credit card debt in 2007.

I'd like to stab the person who didn't tell anyone that they had covered their seat with vomit on their flight to Newark so we had to disembark and wait a further 2 hours for our connecting flight from Newark to Charlotte to be cleaned up - biohazard cleaner couldn't be tracked down any quicker and I'd also like to stab the toerag joyrider who smashed into our car while we were away, causing a grands worth of damage.
