not at all. in fact, my mom's husband and i kind of have a struggle of wills going on with that stuff. every time i see him, he tries to school me on everything he has seen in the paper and on the news since our last visit because he knows i am picky about what stimulus i let flow through me, and i refuse to sit there mindlessly and take in all the senseless violence, etc, in the name of being fucking educated.
it's a great way to spend time with family. very relaxing.

what are you doing today?

I don't care really. I heard some valuable advice some time ago. If you are old enough to remember something being in style the first time, you are too old to do it the second time.

Why haven't they brought back parachute pants though?

Because the kids who wore them wore holes in them by breakdancing.

I have never been. But I have been to "spank night" in austin at some old gothy goth bar.

Why do the goths spin in circles, then dip, then spin?

I've seen the church several times and they're playing this sunday and I'm gonna go get me a ticket for sure (maybe).
