More than once.

(Albany, Texas to have a steak at Fort Griffin General Merchandise. Mason/Llano/Marble Falls/Taylor/Lockart/Elgin/Luling for central Texas bbq. A couple trips from Auburn to the Georgia line just to buy 40s, if malt liquor counts as food).

They seem to be disappearing, but do you like the crappy triangular pre-packaged sandwiches that used to be commonly found at gas stations?

I do when I buy them in England...they've made a huge business of selling the most yummy premade triangle cut sandwiches.

what's a food item you remember fondly from your travels?

I can attest that the English pre-packed triangle sandwiches are far far superior to any of the American ones.

I remember having what I think was octopus in Spain. It was lightly battered and had little purple tentacles sticking out. Since we were on a choir tour we had to try to eat everything we were served. Suprisingly it was deeeeelish.

Dinosaur BBQ in Syracuse, NY is also one to remember.

... also taking Eebs to Threadgills in Austin where he had Chicken Fried Steak for the first time. :)

(too many food/travel memories!)

What's your all time favourite meal?

october - it's my birthday month so i get presents and the footie season is still full of optimism rather than the panic and pressure of relegation in April.

The nose. Because when someone's picking their butt, I imagine that to be an underwear problem, and that's not so bad. But if they're pickign their nose, it's just obvious.

Boston, no contest. Chicago are barely fit to be Boston's roadies.

I am going to go with the old standby: iceberg. Just because I had a great wedge salad the other day!
