today was pretty lazy - up at 6.30, went grocery shopping and into town to get some new library books then home to listen to music, read and catch up on lots of TV. next week should be similar, we're going camping near Corfe Castle

Do you ever rely on remembering certain things just from a catchy saying? For instance, I always remember to do shots before having lager by saying in my head "liquor before beer, you're in the clear. Beer before liquor, never sicker" before a night out. If I don't say it then the night is usually disasterous.

Racist in terms of being Irish, but not for a long time. I've had man hating vibes from lesbians actually, but most of the time they think I'm gay.

not towards me but I remember arguing with a black guy and his white friend a few years ago about the spree. I said they were great but he said he wouldn't listen to them because he was black and "they were all racist texan motherfuckers". Apparently this friend had "important contacts in the music industry who new the inside story about their racist intentions". I thought it funny that this guy was a senior doing a cultural studies degree at Uni. Clearly he'd been paying attention.

yeah, usually when something like a whole almond is sticking out the top of it like it's a captain steering a ship, I worry that it maybe scraped my insides on the way out, causing internal bleeding.

I dont think i've ever walked out of a movie. when i was actually going to te theater a lot I was pretty selective. i've turned off videos or flipped channels a lot, but can't remember the last one. if i pay for something and it's horrible i like to stick around... i like train wrecks on a big screen with good sound.
