Yours, or mine? I am not drunk, though I could use something to soften the blow of 300 new e-mails in my Inbox. . .

I just found out that a coworker went to a sperm bank to get artificially inseminated, and she will be a single mom. Assuming you were single, female and in your 30s, would you consider this?

I think I'd go with adoption before this.

when was the last time you had a really good long talk with someone that wasn't just issues of the day?

One night stands were never my style (but I do like nightstands.)

And YES, I had like 3 sticker books (photo albums turned into sticker books) when I was little. One was completely dedicated to scratch-n-sniff, but I had to keep fruits and desserts from the rank ones, like skunk and pickle.

Actually, I always know when I'm not logged in because I use the "see all posts since your last visit" thingie, and that doesn't show up unless I'm logged in (it's on the right, above the boards but below the chat logo).

Can you make cash deposits to a bank that isn't yours? Since you can take out money from any bank, shouldn't you be able to deposit from anywhere too?

can only make a cash deposit at a branch of my bank, think that's the rules over here because of anti-money laundering guidelines.

why do people singing national anthems at sports events have to give it a load of false warbly nonsense rather than singing it normally?

Because they're not there to honor the country, they're there because they're trying to impress you with their fab singing voices, so they try and force the song to meet their needs. It's dumb.

Do they make elementary school (or whetever the equivalent is) kids in the U.K. recite the British Pledge of Allegence every day (there is a British pledge, right?)?

we don't have a pledge of allegiance here, it's kinda assumed that we love the queen.

i think the first time i heard the american pledge was at the start of an Agnostic Front album. when did you first hear it?

I think I first heard it in kindergarten or 1st grade. The principal would get on the PA system and say it, and we'd all stand and pledge along with her/him. I forget when that stopped. Maybe 3rd grade??

How big of a pay cut would you take for a job that sounded cooler than yours, assuming all other factors (benefits, commute) were similar?

0%?
5%?
10%?
20%?
Whatever it took?

Question does not compute. I'm currently dying for an internship that pays $6/hr. If that doesn't pan out, I'll be competing to work for free.

So I guess 100%. Assuming I had a job that paid, I'd take whatever pay cut would still allow me to live comfortably (buy food & pay bills without having to worry but not necessarily spend any money frivolously).

Do you ever miss college (those who went and are done)?

Yes, but I have always been a bit of a Glory Days type of person. I miss high school, too. And even middle school. But I like my life today.

Do you like Bruce Springsteen?

I liked Hungry Heart. That was pretty much the last time I liked the Boss.

Work for about 2 months then America for about a month. I'd love to take a road trip outside of Texas for a week too but not sure where yet...maybe The Grand Canyon although the heat would make me cry.

Where is a good place to travel to in the US in the summer that isn't a zillion degrees?

Chicago, Illinois

Would you rather have oppressive heat for 4 months each year or oppressive cold for 4 months each year?
