I know I said his name in that thread.i said "is there a reason we're not allowed to say the name roy ivy?" because everyone was talking about him without saying who they were talking about.
It was in response to his shitty post.Gail, they were talking about the time Julie got pissed off and wrote an angry note in the "Stream" section of the Web site about the British kids who held up signs at a show in the UK that said, "ROY - GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN." I think she thought he put them up to that. I don't remember exactly.
And let's be clear. It was a very shitty post. A bit underhanded by him I think...I don't remember the exact post but he made implications that the band never paid their dues (most of us in other bands or groups entirely). It was the wrong thing for him to say, and it upset quite a few people and not just Julie. The "Roy" sign just came at the wrong time in this whole charade, even though it was innocent in intent. It was in response to his shitty post.Gail, they were talking about the time Julie got pissed off and wrote an angry note in the "Stream" section of the Web site about the British kids who held up signs at a show in the UK that said, "ROY - GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN." Does that make us the old, angry sheep? They can't repackage the group/cashcow/marketing project without a new herd of sheep that aren't angry.
Yeah, that's Roy. Of course, he does write some pretty nice pop songs. He just needs to record them better.Huh, I didn't remember his post. I believe it though!
