ever heard of salvia ?
I've taken salvia a few times although only once did I really feel it's effect for long. I remember smoking it in a bong then looking out the window in my garden and thinking the bushes were like the entrance to Wonderland. It made me really want to be out in nature.

Ever heard/read of the Stoned Ape Theory?

nope, but I heard myself screaming "make it wit chu" to Josh at the Queens of the Stonge Age concert last Dec. in SF. Guess what he then played the song.

Do you think I just got lucky or he really heard me screaming that song and decided it was a good time to play it?

Even though I've read some Descartes I've never learned about "Cartesian Dualism." I had to wiki it, so my understanding is shakey, possibly completely wrong. I can't really get behind the idea of the mind being non-physical. I do like to think that there's another "plane" or realm of existence, and that maybe we interact with it through the use and release of different types of energy (stop me if I sound like a nut job). But to say that the mind is non-physical likens it to the "immortal soul," and for me those are two pretty distinct concepts.

In short, Descartes can suck it.

Yes, most recently in Hamburg. I was surprised how 'normal' shoping there is for everyone. mom and dad, girls, guys, couples, singles, gay straight...everyone. It was sort of weird seeing 'mom & dad' types looking at certain items though.

No. But I'm sure there's other evidence that clues my girlfriend's dad in that we are having all the sex.

um. You mean "polyamory?" uh, no. Also have friends for whom it seems to work, also don't understand it. Also, I think "polyamory" is kind of a dumb word made up to make it sound like a sexual orientation, but many (not all) people who use the term are just old school swingers, and some are old school pervs.

What do you think about the phrase?
