Those invented (I know, all words are invented) hybrid names (e.g., Bralen) or when the parents spell a name phonetically (e.g., Makaylah instead of Michaela or the Russian spelling.)

I actually don't mind one bit when people name their kids Pilot, Apple or Banjo.

Never mind -- the craziest name ever is Jermaine Jackson's daughter Jermajesty.

The last place I went to dinner was a pub in Livingston. I was there for a week on a training course, and the people running the course to me and two other people out.

I spent £18 on a hat, which is a lot of money to me anyway especially for a hat. I should have made it really.

If I ask her nicely, do you think the queen will invite me to her birthday party?

I'd slip her a 20 on the sly. I bet she'd invite you then.

Did you sleep well last night?

not really, amy woke us up at 4.20 to go down to the cathedral for an easter service. we stayed for the first bit which was outside, they lit up a big bonfire which was pretty cool - then everyone was heading into the cathedral for a long service with baptisms and confirmations so we left them to it and came home to eat toblerone instead.

have you tried the white chocolate toblerone?
