I don't typically watch those programs, but I can appreciate ironic satire when I hear it. Anyway, in that clip...those people made themselves look stupid. Steward just pulled it together in one clip.
Let's face it. we all know how republicans usally feel about those topics...and the fact they are switching their responses now isn't lost on those of us with a few brain cells left.

What they don't seem to realize is that they and their "news" outlets completely fail to point out these kinds of obvious and glaring idiotic statements. They just won't call people out the way the should. The real sign of downfall is that you have to pretend to be joking in order to voice an actual opinion in public.
