I have never owned a home, but I remember that my parents rented a house for a year when I was a kid because the people who bought our old house wanted to move in right away or something like that. The house had a pool, so it was a pretty sweet deal for us kids.

Do you think it's possible to get used to wearing fake eyelashes? People like Oprah wear them every day.

I'll never get used to wearing them, even tho I really could use a dose of eyelashes.

Did you go wear green today (st. patricks day)?

No, I did take a fall playing tag in the driveway of my elementary school that resulted in a concussion, dry heaves, disorientation, all the extras.

What is the biggest thing you've ever jumped off?

The high dive at the swimming pool in Stonebridge neighborhood, Raleigh, NC. It was probably about 14 feet high, but it felt like a mile.

What's your dirtiest habit?

I have a crystal collection from when I was a kid. I've also collected rubber duckies, lunchboxes, and ceramic masks.... and band-aides. And music, of course. Oh, and my most expensive collection is lots of Cure stuff.

Is there a band you collect, or used to?

XTC
Joe Jackson
Gomez
Belle & Sebastian
Terry Callier
The Smiths
Nick Drake
Blur
The La's
Underwolrd

and a few others...have lots of spork stuff just to prove to my kids one day...

Do you get sick of collecting things and remove them for the sake of space?

No, I'm a pack rack.

WTF is up with Gomez coming to town - but as support for The Fray? And is this better or worse than when the Violent Femmes opened for the Wallflowers?

I don't know. And I can't imagine it matching the lameness of having VM open for the wallflowers.

What's the most you paid for a concert ticket? Was it worth it?

Rarely, but I do sometimes. Most often though, a post is the thing that pushes me over the edge to buy something I was thinking about buying anyway...but I bought my first XTC album based solely on the cover art (Oranges And Lemons), so that worked out.

What's your favourite album cover art?

The Rolling Stones' Sticky Fingers. Because I too have the sense of humor of a third grader.

Planning a trip?
