Tacos with ground turkey and one of those Old El Paso type kits. Mmm, I haven't had those in a while.

Do your parents have weird names for things?

Barbeque Chik-N Pizza. With Sriracha (Rocket Sauce). Or you could use chicken I suppose.

Edit: My mom has a problem with "S" at the beginning of a word. She called my car a "Zaturn" for years. Every time she talks about Dr. Zues I crack up. I picture a guy in a silly hat throwing off rhymes as he stands on Mount Whatever-that-mountain-was-called smiting people with thunderbolts.

Floss daily?

Several times a week, but not daily lately. I need to get back on that.

Did you like Napoleon Dynamite?

I've never seen one, but that doesn't mean they aren't real I suppose.

I will, it's def. on the list. When a co-worker of mine handed off a project to me working with Yahoo last year I thought I could weasel a trip out of it, but she had the project long enough to make the SF trip and set the ground rules, so all that was left for me was work.
Oh, and a Yahoo! windbreaker.
poo.

Do you keep a mental list of the places you plan to visit?

I do. And it has categories and chapters.

Have you ever seen a woman driving a motorcycle with a man on the back?

no, actually. but cbas and i had this conversation the other day because i am getting my license finally. i asked him if he would feel weird riding on the back and he admitted that he might. odd, cause i would think he wouldn't care, knowing him.

would you worry about me if i got a bike and rode it around all over the damn place?

Yes. Please promise to wear a helmet at least. We like your noggin as is.

Have you ever witnessed a bad traffic accident?

yeah. it makes one's stomach sick.

think i'm picky for being annoyed when people say "you" when they really mean, "i"? for example, a lady talking about something terrible happening to her: "you feel stranded, alone. you don't know who to turn to. you just hope it'll all be over soon..." and such.

Depends on the context. It's a tool people use to try and make their experience seem universal; they know you'd feel the same way if it happened to you.
They just want you to be UNDERSTOOD.

That said, if they don't preface it with somethign like, "When something like this happens to you," then it's just wrong. So yes, maybe you are being picky but there's nothing wrong with that.

Do you think about language often? About nuances and subtlties? Subtlies?

How do you spell sublte - ties?

I believe it is spelled "subtleties."

Yes, I think about language often, but not as often as I used to think about it.

Are you getting pickier with age, or less picky?

a mix really, some things that would have bothered me when i was younger i'd not worry about now but i'm pickier about other things... going somewhere where you can have a conversation and a decent cider when i go out rather than the nearest pub for example.

did you know crystal meth is the latest us import to hit these shores?
