But I spent a half hour on this site today. It was Shamelessly, SHAMELESSLY girlie of me.
I discovered that site a couple weeks ago (because I've become a hopeless political junkie who obsessively reads things like DailyKos, Huffington, 538.comm etc) and it is the most adorable thing EVER. I couldn't last for 30 minutes though - I was completely overcome by the cute, too much for my fragile emotional state.

Since I've become so addicted to politics, I've even taken to listening to Sean Hannity in short bursts just for balance - I only listen for a few minutes at a time because I fear my head will explode. Safety first!

you should read crooks and liars too. I prefer it over kos for some reason. partly because of the late night music club.

I see kids with their Obama buttons on their backpacks...very cute. And I think they get what it means. They may not really care 5 mins later, but they understand the basics of why their parents are supporting this guy and not that other "one".
My poor daughter - When she was in kindergarten, they did a vote at school. I don't know why but she voted for Bob Dole. Maybe he reminded her of her grandfather?

It's going to be one of those family stories we tell to embarrass her in front of people she brings home to meet us. It'll probably only work during presidential election cycles, though.

And how do you know this? Hmmmm? It's suposed to be a secret ballot. Somebody call the UN Election monitors, these kindergartners rights are being violated!

This one? They have some pretty funny ones if you haven't seen them.

I bought this one at the county Democratic office last week:

I swear I already told this story... but anyway...

My daughter's school had a mock election and she persuaded several fo her friends to vote for Obama... which is quite a feat considering the county we live in.

And Saturday someone sent me a fake news article that stated McCain won. My daughter asked if the election was over. I turned around to find her reading over my shoulder with tears in her eyes. I let her know that we find out who won Wednesday morning and that she really, really needs to relax.

She's very passionate for a ten year old.
