uuuuh.Friggin' Korea wants me to prove I'm worth $3,000 before they grant me a student visa. Balls.
That's strange, aren't you a minor and therefore technically worth - well - nothing?

They're probably just trying to figure out what to set the initial ransom for when you step off the plane.

It's about financial viability, guess. I have to prove I have the money to get there, go home when it expires, and take care of any charges I accrue while I'm there.uuuuh.Friggin' Korea wants me to prove I'm worth $3,000 before they grant me a student visa. Balls.

i'm the law of the land, i got ga-ga-ga-ga-guh-guh-girls on the command
they were really mad that i hadnt printed my full intinerary. i was like, come ON i'm going to shetland. do you really care if i stay there? if anything, it'd help anyway. customs officers are annoying.
if anyone needs a passport really quick i recommend www.arushpassports.com - i got mine in 4 business days and they only charged $95 in addition to government and fedex fees. other companies wanted like $200.
