as far as julie being a bitch, hmmmmmmmm. i think that it must be hard to be in a partnership with a person so seemingly free-spirited, particularly when kids and responsibilities are involved. not knowing either of them, i probably have no right to speak (understatement) but i will say that i have seen many a significant other morph into a control freak in direct proportion to the degree of his/her partner's carefree attitude. not only are they left taking care of all the biz, but they are also trying to convince their sig-oth how much they should care about the details in life, etc. does that make sense?
Whether it's true or not, I get what you're saying. We have a few couples we know where the wives are bitchy and controlling. I have pointed out on more than one occasion, the husbands let it go on because they get stuff done without having to do it themselves, they don't have to confront anyone since they have a pitbull to do it for them, and they get to come across as NOT being the bad guy. Works great for them.

Oh, and the Las Vegas show was embaressing.

See ya at the orgy!

That was pretty bad but whose idea was to have Tim fly in the air at the Mtv Video Music awards?

Can I just say - while I have a lot of respect for parts of the process that goes on when we talk about things - that also a lot of what's being said here is probably too personal and/or private for discussion on a public forum? There's a huge difference between talking with trusted friends in order to work through things that have happened to you, and publicly airing dirty laundry. Some of you may well have your reasons for feeling however you do and others are just jumping on the gossip train. Those who have any business taking any of this personally already know the things they need to know, and those who don't probably don't want or need to hear all about it. If you still love the music, then do that. If you have been personally afflicted by the band or someone in it, deal with that. Not everyone's experience is going to be the same.

A lot of this, though, is just getting really ugly, name-calling and what not, and it kinda makes me sad. What's done is done. We don't need this.

I think those that have been personally involved/screwed have shown great restraint in what they have or haven't said.

Thanky thanky Jim. If I said what I'd really like to say, I truly believe that the police would beat down my door and Jeebus would cry.

Like I said before, I'm not fucking bitter or anything.

I think that some people's "lack of" bitterness  is understandable. Some other's are less understandable and the vitriolic posts get a little heavy handed.
But hey, I am asorbing it all and may someday write a sociology thesis on it.

That's not necessarily who I was referring to, or what I meant exactly.
