You could fit a veritable arsenal in that bag.

Great bag Phyllis! I think it's great when people make stuff themselves. One of the projects I've got coming up is a bag for my sister for her birthday. I've already got some bamboo handles, now I need to get some wool and some fabric in a fabulous colour. I think I'm going to knit the outside and put fabric inside. In fact, I could nick Phyllis's idea and mke it reversable, that'd be really cool...

Recently I have been knitting stuff for my friend's baby (due in two months). I've made a little boat necked jumper and a hat, which despite my rather crappy knitting skills actually look like a jumper and a hat. The knitted booties didn't work though, I only made one because it ended up soooo big the kid will be 4 or 5 before it fits. I've also been making little felt shoes for Russ's new neice, who we're going to visit in a couple of weeks for the first time. I've made a pair of purple ones with ribbon edging and embroidered initials, and tonight I've been making a sky blue pair, one embroidered with a cloud and a raindrop and the other with a sun. Baby shoes are the cutest.
