yeah that ribbon was lovely...
Especially since photography plays such a big role in her life -- it's a neat way to incorporate it in her own wedding.

:D

Ah. I'm so glad I found this thread!

I'm posting this just so we can see their faces better.

We're back!

Thanks everyone for your well wishes, that's so lovely :) As Jackie said, the weather turned out perfectly (nearly 6 inches of snow melted in 24 hours!) and we had an absolutely amazing day. Jackie organised the best picnic EVER - thank you so much Jackie, you helped to make our wedding day extra special.

For those asking about the ribbon I attached to my bouquet, it had photos of other family weddings- aunties/uncles, parents, grandparents and great grandparents. The oldest photo was taken in 1913. I scanned them all into Photoshop and restored them before getting the local t-shirt printers to put them onto ribbon. I'm going to give sections of it to my relatives as a keepsake at the party next month (AKA wedding day part 2).

I'm also going to put a slide show together of some of the best photos (there are hundreds to sort out!) which I'd be happy to share with those of you who are interested :)

Yeah, it was!

I'm working on getting the rest of the pro pics of the wedding ready, they'll be online soon.

P.S. Does anyone have Summergirl's e-mail address? She sent me a lovely congratulations card, and I'd like to say thanks.
