I think those that have been personally involved/screwed have shown great restraint in what they have or haven't said.
That's not necessarily who I was referring to, or what I meant exactly.

In reading your additional comments, I think we are on the same page.

Hey, all...

What an eye opener. Ok, I knew the board had dropped a fair few IQ points since the Arborwood days, and I'm very glad this place exists to keep up with the folk I got to know back then, but it's never been taken too seriously by anyone, has it? Apart from the organising of some great gig experiences, it was all just BB banter, no?

Gah, this is all a bit depressing - I've not seen the Spree live for about a year and a half now, and I knew of the major departures, such as James & Joe etc... but when did departures start being anything other than amicable?

A lot's not getting said here, and as people have said above, that's maybe a good thing. But what's the bottom line on peoples' feelings towards the Spree? Does the music come into this at all?

For my two cents (and to paraphrase what I've already said), unless you have been directly involved, then I think yes: your feelings should start and stop with the music. Everything you need or need to know is there. If for some reason the music doesn't move you anymore, you shouldn't need to go looking for a deeper reason, just accept it and move on. But if you're still in love with the music, why go looking to mess that up? High expectations can be very dangerous. Enjoy what you have or find something else you enjoy.

Not that I'm telling people how to feel, because that isn't what I meant, either.

Guys, can we just accept that people are annoyed with the spreee and move on? I don't fancy the idea of people moaning for the next six months. Some people are going to be more disillusioned than others.

I think it was getting to be a bit too serious business, especially when Roy was dead/alive/everyone.
