just heard from NSF and my grant proposal has been recommended for funding with high priority!!! according to my mentor, getting this kind of recommendation for anthropology studies in US hospitals is "nigh unto impossible" and i should be celebrating wildly. now, this does not guaranty money, but the chances are pretty damn good now. so, yay me!!
