I am seriously dying to know where these mountain/lake views are. Granted, Preston Hollow is full of ginormous McMansions and plenty of money, but a simple google maps search would show that it's smack dab in the middle of Dallas and not amongst rolling hills. In four months Mr. and Mrs. Bush move to a town outside Dallas called Preston Hollow, one of the wealthiest areas in the oil-rich state of Texas. Houses come with horse stables, lake views, mountain views, golf club views.

bahaha. mountain views.
this reminds me of an article the new york post published about denton, tx. they said that denton was a "small town that doesn't even have a starbucks." uh, yeah we do. and if they think denton is small then perhaps they should visit the gbc.

I guess - maybe they thought some of the houses are sort of mountainous?
But stables??
But stables??

I'd like to see where mail gets delivered if addressed to Preston Hollow, TX. It's just a neighborhood within Dallas!

Ross Perot (Sr.) lived on Strait Lane and had stables. Is that considered Preston Hollow or does it stop at the tollway? I was never that familiar with that part of Dallas, anyway.

Really? That's like someone having horses on the streets near Rivercrest CC. Hmm.
Well, maybe there are stables over there after all.

Re: Really, New York Post? Really?
No, I've seen a few houses in "the Hollow" that have small stables. Also, you mail will get delivered to you if you use "Preston Hollow" instead of "Dallas." Same for the University Parks "cities." Hell, my work address is DFW Airport, TX since we, like those uppity places, are considered a city.

Re: Really, New York Post? Really?
You're right -- I think it'll get there as long as the zip code is correct.

Re: Really, New York Post? Really?
I think most stables on the old mansions have been converted into slave, i mean maid, quarters. or guest houses. or the old mansions have been bulldozed and rebuilt into garish monstrosities that are way too close to the street and have vomity landscaping and personalized scroll-work on their ridiculous private pass-key gates.
