my friend Larry taught me the saying about the drum set, it comes from a website ar15.com. it's a place for gun lovers and one of their favorite subjects is "what gun would you want to use when the zombies come". wonder if their hip to this.

One day my friend from Illinois and I were wandering around a part of town called Sŏmyŏn and we found a shooting range. Apparently they cater specifically to Japanese tourists, since the business card the guy gave us was entirely in Japanese, but he spoke pretty good English too.

So, I am mere days away from shooting a gun for the first time in my life (Illinois isn't, naturally) and preparing myself for the Great Zombie Holocaust of 2012.

(EDIT: I thought it was a nice touch when Illinois went in and specifically asked if they had 'the gun of Dirty Harry'... and the guy knew what he was talking about.)
