Kids Say the Darndest Things

Postby mere1975 » Wed Jan 02, 2008 3:21 pm

Sam's sister Sarah was talking about how if she and boyfriend Jimmy get married, they'd probably go to a beach -- maybe Costa Rica.

Her 6-year-old daughter said, "Awwwww, NO, I don't want to go to Poca Rita!"

:)
Thought that was funny. (She said it was because she doesn't speak Spanish.)

my friend has a six year old daughter. i was around her for the first three or so years of her life. then her father and i had a falling out and didn't talk for a few years, so she didn't remember me at all when we started talking again. her mom always hated me because i got along better with her babydaddy than she did. a few months ago, the daughter said the following:

"wow! you're a lot nicer than mommy said you would be!"

i laughed a lot.
