exams!

Postby Dalya » Sun Nov 25, 2007 6:18 pm

This is really more of a diary entry because I know no one cares. Maybe Shauna.

I just spent 45 minutes like a loser calculating my current grades and figuring out the minimum grades I need on all my exams to make straight A's. I'm already done with 2 classes (easy ones that I'm 99% sure I got A+'s in). Now I have chem, precal, and lit left.

The good news is that I got a 96 on my last chemistry exam (yesssssss), so that takes a lot of the pressure off. My precal teacher told us the format of the test and what types of questions would be asked and we're allowed to bring a notecard with formulas written on it. So if I dont get an A in that class, I dont deserve to go to college. Lit is my last exam and I need to read about 750 pages this week because I let myself get behind. Oppsie doodle.

And I have a question for everyone but I'll put it in a new thread because I know maybe 3 people read this far.[/i]

Wait - doesn't everyone do this? Of course some do it to figure out the minimums to make Ds, but same diff, no?

I can't remember if I got a chance to brag about my 4.0 last semester, so I'll go ahead and mention it now since this semester will suck. I'm going to be pulling a C in History because I'm too retarded to read the syllabus and realize that the two "quizes" we took were each worth 20% of the grade. Also, (mainly) because I'm just burnt out on school. Also also, I'm planning a wedding and easily distracted. Also, I suck.

yay sunny! *high five nerd club*

Now it's become like a competition with myself. I had never gotten straight A's before, so once I got a 4.0 once I was like wow so this is what not being lazy does. I just want to see how long I can keep the 4.0.

If I get an A in calculus next semester I think I deserve a puppy or something.

If I get an A in organic chem next year then I deserve to be a doctor.

Somehow I doubt both of those things will happen, though.

Your sister's a dahk-dah? Cool.

I am proud of all of you nerds.

Can someone help me get psyched about going back to school in January? I have to register for classes this week and I don't want to. At all. Seriously. Don't make me.

funny note:

i had my last final this morning, which was for my lit class on don quixote. tonight i saw lars and the real girl which references quixote (it shows lars reading aloud to his doll from it). im such a nerd that i emailed my professor about it and ended with "i swear this wasn't staged to such up, i'm just that nerdy."
