Girl #1: I'm so glad I met you tonight. REALLY glad I met you!
Girl #2: I'm glad I met you too!
Girl #1: Uh...what was your name again?

Ja"but the crowd...just like Dalya's post...still...it's not the band I hate, it's the fans"mes
Conversation overheard in the ladies' room at Tegan and Sara show - 2 girls in the adjacent stall (yes they were in the same stall.)

hahahahahaha

its not a lesbian crowd specifically. i have finally figured out what bothers me is when a band has a stereotype crowd. Like if a band attracts 99% 12 year olds or 99% people wearing all black or 99% teenage boys in tight jeans... chances are i hate all of those bands. because when music appeals to a "demographic" its not real art. real art should appeal to a little bit of everybody. thats what i loved about spree shows and the forum - we're not all the same age, race (we've got jackie!), religion, etc etc. we dont all dress the same or vote the same, and its more interesting that way. its interesting to find out why so many diverse people gravitated to one band or whatever other art.

what's boring is, here is a song about how beautiful the souls of women are *room full of lesbians cheers* here is a song about how my dad doesnt love me *room full of emo kids let their bangs hang in their eyes*

i could go on.
I myself am hell;
nobody’s here—
