plus i think i've only seen one or two episodes of it and turns out it's not hot tall catty dumb girls running around a house. so I lost ineterest.
Don't forget that crazy bitch Tyra. I think at this point she's def cultivating / faking the crazy; it makes up at least 30% of the show's entertainment value.

That and laughing at all the "OMK this is so serious and it's the hardest fucking thing I've ever done and if I can get through this I'll have proved so much to the world." They talk like fucking cancer survivors.

'course I've never seen PR. And I'm basing most of my opinion of ANTM on the 5 or so episodes I watched years ago plus clips friom Jezebel.com.

you're speakin' my language!

when tyra "acts"... lol omk copter!

she's, like, the best actress EVAR. and her singing and dancing? fo'rizzle. and you better be careful, because if she gives you her model eyes, you are powerless under her spell.

That just inspired a little bulimia in me. Or at least, a vurp.

hi my name is nina, sometimes i sound like i know spanish fluently and sometimes i have a katherine hepburn upper east side accent, it just depends on the demographic. but you can always count on my boring outfit and my stifling the creativity of anyone who doesnt exactly replicate valentino, gucci, YSL or prada.

O.

K.

My early favorites are the Israeli guy who won, the Asian girl, the bald Chicago guy who works at the museum and the chubby (OK, fat) guy who designs costumes. He seems like the kind who would get booted right away, but I really liked his dress!

I am going to step on that annoying little jerk with the emo hair. Cameron?? His jacket and dress were terrible -- I thought he was in the bottom three, not the top three!

(Haha, BOTTOM.)

yeah the jerky emo kid (christian, btw) is kind of jerky but i actually loved his outfit. i thought the outfit that won was just boring. pretty, yeah. but not original.

is the chicago guy the one that said in his interview "yeah Y'KNOW I'M TOTALLY A STRAIGHT DESIGNER. JUST THOUGHT I WOULD SAY THAT. I LIKE WOMEN AND BOOBS AND NASCAR!!!!!!"
'cause i thought that was kind of annoying.

the dallas guy reminds me a bit of bradley from last season.

I LOVED BRADLEY LAST SEASON i wanted him to win.

i think the annoying emo guy is funny because what he says is true and he says it in an obnoxious feminine way. i loved him outfit except for thefur on the jacket. i thought he should have beat the israeli guy. his outfit looked like something i could buy at nordstroms right now. not unique at all, just well done.

the hispanic guy is already annoying bc he has low self esteem. i can tell hes gonna cry every episode and doubt every decision he makes.

that fucking hippie is so annoying. who takes a nap? she doesnt deserve to be on the show.

p.s. i feel like its kind of weird that theyre having so many people who are already professional. i thought the point was to give people a chance, not to find someone who owns their own store already, like the israeli guy. it seems like theres no point having a contest for people who are already successful.

Yeah, but Chloe from 2 seasons ago had a thriving business in Houston. Sure, it was in Houston -- but she won.

The guy from Chicago (Steven) is not the straight, macho jeans designer. He is blonde with very short hair (not actually bald like I remembered foggily.) His outfit was a black jacket and skirt with a red thing underneath?

I guess I could refer to the web site, but whatev.

totes. i think it's sort of unfair to have professional designers up against kids in school or the super untrained or what have you, but it's part of the challenge and should just make the less trained hunger for it more. and, chloe won in season 2. so maybe it's an unfair edge, but eh. passion and creativity will get you farther on this show than anything, i think.

i absolutely HATED that stupid emo gay kid's outfit. i couldn't believe the judges didn't tear it apart. because it looked like you could've pulled one strong and had the whole thing fall to pieces. i didn't think it was classy or finished or pulled together. UGLY! and not in a good way.

and you KNOW that that israeli guy has made that dress 700 times. so while it was a nice dress, i feel like him calling it his "signature" should've docked him a few points. cause while initial creativity might've been there ten years ago when he dreamed it up, where's the inspiration in doing something you've done a billion times before?

i'm glad the boring girl went instead of the hippie chick. i liked her right off the bat but then as the show went on, she got on my nerves. sleep? who sleeps in the middle of a competition? that dress could've been really earthy and awesome, but she just kind of stopped caring. they def kept her for the fact that she has the potential to do something interesting, whereas that boring chick was done before she got there.

during the commercial break right before the elimination i told my mom, "yeah they're going to keep the stupid weird girl 'cause she's stupid and weird and makes for good tv. but the boring girl is going to go. even though both of their dresses are the worst things to ever exist"

and booyeah i was right. though i hope the stupid weird girl goes soon 'cause i hate her.

also, mere - i liked steven too! he is one of my faves.
