You're that dirty Christian what makes Tevye disown his daughter. Why I oughta....

I dont' see enough theatre; it's on my calender, but I'm not guarenteeing anything. Do the plays come with a church service attached? If so, I probably can guarentee something...

i can promise there will be no mention of God or church outside of the musical itself. the church has a small theater, but due to the large attendance, the sanctuary is used for the annual summer musical. a temporary multi-tiered stage covers the choir loft, main stage, chancel rail, and portions of the area between the rail and the pews.

in the past the musical draws between 2500-3500 for the three performances combined.

Not me. I was thinking it was weird they were doing a play about a Jewish family.
Yeah... shouldn't the sinagogue be in charge of that one?

You guys are gonna mispronounce all the words! You better get a dialogue coach or something...

repeat after me: Those goyim have chutzpah to try and do a Jewish musical.

Aww, come on. Every church I know does Jewish plays -- such as the passion plays before Easter, that Jewish lady riding on a donkey and giving birth to a Jew baby named Jesus in a manger, etc.

P.S.
Can I call Jesus a Jew baby, or does that sound rude? I think it sounds cute.

Add a little Mrs. Doubtfire flavor when you sing "Matchmaker". ;)

I love fidler on the roof, but I don't think the film version can be improved upon, unless all the same people performed it live... As far as movie musicals go, it's one of the best.
