[first, yay to steve for finally getting a driver's license!]
1. enjoying my now-officially-full-time gig @ the 'fork.
2. DJing w/ my friend steve as DJs Steve'n'Tyler (get it?!) at the WLUW Record Fair this weekend!
3. pretending that i don't really need to finish school, due to No.1 above..
4. wishing chicago winters didn't last so damn long.

i've been up to east texas and austin. seeing snow all over central texas.
what I need to do:
1)get to the horse track
1.5)get to the devils bowl
2)stop relying on overdraft protection
3)make some things not so dirty. think the word is clean
4)eat more
5)figure out where to use my southwest credit. leaning towards the LA area now.
6)look into moving to the great northwest/talk myself out of wanting to move somewhere I've never been.

1) New job where I actually have to work...wtf? Seriously, my daytime posting has disappeared for that reason
2) Lots of going places and company since school is out for half term, and Emma finally has some time to see people, so we've been doing a LOT of that...
3) Planning Holidays. So far we have Switzerland in the summer, as well as Summer Sundae. Also planning on some gigs: Blonde Redhead in May and Sonic Youth in August come to mind at the moment...
4) Waiting to get my passport back from the UK government, hopefully with a little sticker that says I can stay here as long as I want.
5) Swearing never to eat chocolate again after Easter in the UK...which seems to be a 4 day holiday revolving around chocolate.
6) Hitting the gym as part of the swearing off of chocolate, and now that my life has somewhat calmed down, getting back in the groove of running...
7) Finding out-of-print or hard to find records on Amazon's used section, and buying them. Latest arrival is David J's "Candy On The Cross" single, which has his awesome cover of John Cale's "Antarctica Starts Here". I'm a couple of songs away from having an entire album of covers of Paris 1919. Also is his spoken word "Memphis Ghosts", which has him speaking from Tony Fitzpatrick's "The Hard Angels". And the title track has Peter Murphy singing backup...one of the best singles ever.
8)Waiting on Amazon to deliver other stuff
9)Getting ready to mail Sunny's CD. Not as goth as I had originally intended, and probably won't have much in the way of new stuff for her, but at least it'll be good to spin in the car...
10) Relieved that there will be a third season of Hotel Babylon...
