In this thread, we wonder if we have commited faux pas

I started a telephone message with this:

"Hi, it's Chris. It's sixteen minutes and thirty-seven seconds past two in the afternoon on the thirteenth of March in the year of our lord two-thousand and seven..."

Have I committed a faux pas?
