bust through the interface differences like the right click, and the minimising etcetera and you will never look back. i promise.

Actually, all Apples come standard with what is called a Mighty Mouse. It appears to have only one button, yes? NO! It senses where your finger clicks! YES!

You can bind that button (and all the other ones) to do whatever you want them to as well. For example: always searching with Spotlight to find the right App or doc? Bind Spotlight to right click and you've always got it a click away! APPLE YES!

That's exactly how I felt in college. I love my Mac. Hopefully you can convince your parents that in order to learn and use the applications properly, you need one at home. Tell them about the education discount and find out how to get one cheap over there (ask Steveums; he might know).

I need to go back to school to get the cheaper rates! And I need an upgrade. I think that's gonna be my Christmas present.

Mac Users,

Anyone know why the volume buttons on my number pad aren't working anymore? I must have hit the Mac equivalent of Num Lock. . . ???

(That's what I heard my network administrator friend say. I think he was talking about coding, but I just imagined big sausage hands typing on a tiny keyboard.)

Actually, there's a mute button right beside the up and down buttons, so maybe you perhaps hit that one. Otherwise, check your sound settings. I hope that helps!

I don't think you can steal that phrase. It belongs to the world.

i got a macbook at my school computer store and they had a rebate so i also got a 30 gig ipod video with it for only $90 (normally $300) i think. now, i have been against ipods for a long time now, but: 1) it is safer to put it on shuffle whilst driving than digging through my cd cases and 2) i can now listen to music while jogging without it skipping.

those 2 things seemed worth $90. i also got this alarm clock/radio/ipod player/charger. so i can set it on the song i want to wake me up the next day. thats super cool.

anyway, i have more self esteem now that i have a mac and i'm smarter and prettier. overall, i'm pleased.

here are some of the cool pictures michael and i took in photobooth, which comes on macbooks.
