has anyone seen this commercial. there is a singing chocoloate chip cookie and some punk kids walking with him, they're animated, and they are just walking around singing "chips ahoy. OYE OYE OYE!" then a little monkey cop comes up to them saying NO NO NO! Not punky, chuncky!!!

at first i really did think i was tripping.

It really is quite amusing.

Though I think monkey-cop is the most disturbing thing about it.

It appeals to two separate groups at the same time. Kids who like cookies, and Roaches who like cookies.

I acutally really liked the shortened version of that commercial (without the "neat/sweet"-rhyming bit), especially the monkey cop. I'm all about primate authority.

The part that creeped me out was at the end when the cookie burst out from behind the logo/banner and shouted "Oi!" one last time for good measure. There's nothing good about that.

Friends and I were discussing this commercial the same day you posted this. Were you watching the Andy Griffith marathon on tvland that weekend? Because they must've shown that commercial at every break. I had never seen it before and after the 50th time, it was creeping us out too.

And it is quite cheezily annoying.
