I just saw Slapshot last night for the first time and it was fantastic. Random, profane and violent all in plaid polyester. It did bring an important question to mind. Are hockey sticks most closely related to forks or spoons? It does, on the surface, have a spoon-like shape. However, I would argue that any object that can be used to hook, slice, spear, trip and score has to be a fork. No spoon could ever exhibit that kind of versatility.

This is too late for today's lunch, but my most recent pork craving can only be satisfied by the carnitas at Chipotle.

I vote spoon because hockey is evil like child-proof caps. Forks wouldn't abandon their fans for a year just because they needed more cabbage for the scooping: that's spoon territory.
Boycott spoons and hockey!

I agree that hockey has recently turned towards darkness. A very ineffective turn in that they are all poorer than when they started. I can't help but think that the negotiations would have been much shorter and more effective had all parties had hockey sticks with them at the table.
Anyways, the potential for mayhem is what attracts me to the stick and the fork. Spoons and child-proof caps are designed for idiots (yes, children are idiots) and that's all who'll ever be using them.

Nice. Bacon for lunch with a side of bacon.
I had company supplied lasagna which I think was designed to end my life quickly so that I won't be a drain on the benefits program.
I think I'll get my pork on with the McRib tonight. Will they put bacon on top for me? Mmmmm, sounds like another poll.

I think the big question is whether or not there is even a single strip of bacon in a McDonalds.

Only when a stripper comes in for breakfast after her shift, ha!
Sorry, will they put "bacon" on top for me? Lets not discuss the origins of the McRib itself.

the accepted wisdom around here is that it's pressed wieners.
