"Gag" Fork

Anyone out there care to share their opinion as to whether this product is a grand interpretation of a fork or a perversion of what a fork should be?

It does allow theater-wide fork operations, but at what cost? The flimsy radio-antennae extension makes it so much less stabby and that is what makes a fork a fork. I think I am going to have to say that a telescopic fork might be ok but this execution of one looks unacceptable.I think I'm OK with the telescopic fork. Think of it as a long-range strategic weapon.
