Euro 2016

I thought about making it "shport" in general, but I really don't care about the others.

But holy crap did they make up for it today...this time they finally used their firepower...Vardy was offsides though.

It's overall getting better. Italy always shows up....

No need to pile on the England team, but were there really 30,000 Iceland fans there? That's 10% of their damn population!

I heard a soundbite of the Icelandic announcer when they scored. I had to sit in the car for a spell before walking into Target because I was laughing so hard I was crying.

I tuned in to watch England's latest epic failure, and it was pretty abysmal. Just no tactics at all; this is generally the issue with England Football. They're like the USA basketball team when they thought they'd just win the gold because they were the US and got their arses handed to them by Greece and ended up with a LeBronze medal....instead, unlike the US, who immediately installed a program and a Captain Kick Ass for a coach who actually plays to a plan, England just put out a bunch of names in a 4-5-1 or 4-4-2 and just say "ok boys, give it a go". They looked like absolute shit. And it's really funny to hear people say they did so well in the group stage....really? Draw with Russia (one of the worst teams ever), got very lucky to beat Wales, and drew with Slovakia (another poor team). It was obvious they were going to lose to a team that, possibly unknown to the England team and fans, was in form. And it showed.

My favourite part though was the chat at about 70 minutes of "Leave Now"....epic

I'm loving the Euros this year. It's been hilarious seeing all of the epic meltdowns and hooray stories of teams like Iceland. Who knows what the next week will hold.

Wales v Belgium has to be one of the top games thus far, if not the top. My favourite bit has been the reaction of England fans watching Wales do something they couldn't do. Today's matches should be, at least on paper, incredible. This is the round of the real teams...

Well, it had to end. Hard lines, Wales. And I think it's go France-Germany winner because I can't stomach the idea of Ronaldo winning...

Awful awful finish. The highlight was definitely Ronaldo and his moth getting subbed out in the first half. He is such a useless human being. Hopefully the fans will recognize that they've got a huge boat anchor stealing everyone's thunder.

Poor France, they played a decent match, but just couldn't find the net.
