Germany vs Argentina

Postby lennon » Fri Jun 30, 2006 2:03 am

in my humble opinion is by far the hardest game to pick thus far in the tournament. argentina is the better team but home cookin goes a long way, ref. france '98

Was playing without Abbondanzieri the difference, or did those last couple shots from Argentina look a little slow?

i only saw the last few minutes of regulation then the overtimes and shoot out. I'm happy with the result.

of course your happy with the result. you picked germany in the pool.
i of course picked wrong cuz the coin landed on tails. your three game lead on me seems to be out of reach but i will not yet admit defeat.

guess i need to pick some longshots......go france
